Red Lake: As we recently opened our doors in Red Lake, we hosted a community BBQ where everyone was invited to come meet the staff from Red Lake and Kenora!

Community Involvement

Kenora Dragon Boat Festival: Corporate Sponsor for 2007 and 2008.  Raised $400 in “Cake Roulette” game for The Lake of the Woods Regional Community Foundation.

Dryden Dragon Boat Festival: Participated in Dragon Boat races and raised $2000 for the Dryden Kinsman Club!

Red Lake: Over the holiday season the staff adopted a family to help out with holiday expenses.  They were able to donate $300 toward Christmas gifts and bringing the joy of the season to a single mother and her family.

Dryden Adopt-a-Highway: Adopted an 8 kilometer stretch of highway and annually clean this section of garbage and debris.

National Dress Down Day: Raised $250 to donate to breast cancer research.

Kenora Miracle Marathon: Held office competition to raise money for the Salvation Army.  The department that raised the least amount of funds had to sing a Christmas song on the radio during the Miracle Marathon! Kenora Personal Lines were the lucky singers! The office in total was able to donate $1500 to the Miracle Marathon!

Red Lake Celebrity Bagging:  To help raise money for the Red Lake Hospital, our office participated in “Celebrity Bagging” where all grocery purchases are rounded up to the nearest dollar and donated to the Hospital Foundation!

Dryden Hoshizaki House: Over the holiday season, Dryden Personal Lines were able to fundraise during a competitive singing contest with Kenora Personal Lines (Dryden Personal Lines won!) and were able to donate $958 to the Hoshizaki House!

Kenora Christmas Hamper Food Drive:  We were able to donate over $1000 worth of food to the Salvation Army Christmas Hampers this year.

Dryden Heart and Stroke, Big Bike “Hula Gang”:  Dryden got together and rode the “Big Bike” through town to show their support while raising $2424.50 towards the Heart and Stroke Foundation!

Kenora Pinecrest Day Program Volunteer: Every Wednesday members from the office volunteer and give rides to participants in the Pinecrest Day Program.
